To Once Again Rise
I said I'd do it,
Didn't I?
I won't back down,
But to stand might make me cry...

A promise made here,
And yet another there;
Many months apart,
Simply said without a care...

Some way on earth...
.. And I don't know how...
They attack together
And knock me down now.

As I'm knocked flat again,
Time for me it buys...
For as the sun I will set,
Yet once again rise!
